Default Mobil 1 Spring Rebate

For those of us that change our own oil, Mobil 1 has a Spring Rebate promotion. $12 for the purchase of five quarts of Mobil 1.

Read the fine print. Oil must be purchased at the listed stores. Where are they?

Never heard of any of them...then they have Napa Auto parts of Colonia...might as well have listed Russian auto part stores.

A rebate is pretty much useless if it doesn't cover the auto parts stores in the region where I live. It lists Amazon.com, but amazon.com doesn't sell the oil, a 3rd party does through their website... so I'm not sure that would count. I'm all for saving $14, but not if its this much grief.

I just bought 5 quarts of Mobil 1 0w40 at Advance Auto Parts for $29 and they threw in a Mobil 1 filter, last week. I did it twice, so I have enough oil for an oil change. The oil retails there for $7.49 per quart and the filters are between $12 and $14. No filters for Porsches, however, so I got two for the Ford Excursion.
