Can anyone reccomend a set of tapered lug bolts (and set of locks) for my 997.2 911?


im more familiar with Lug nuts and this and that, but my new wheels do not accept the ball seat oem lugs but require tapered lug bolts... ive seen some here and there on ebay but i would prefer not to risk my life on some cheap lug bolts..

thank you for the help, not saying they have to be expensive but would hope some high quality lug bolts/locks.

I would take that up with the wheel manufacturer. Why didn't they machine the holes like the OEM wheels so that that wouldn't be an issue?

They are HRE's the original owner must have ordered it that way. No clue why. I can get cheapies from advanced auto parts but would rather not.

Riley, this is odd stuff. Your factory bolts should fit if these wheels are made or a Porsche. I'd be worried that the wheels would not mate up and sit correctly with out the correct style of bolts.

Can can always change your hubs to studs.

They might have a solution for you. I got my spacers and wheel bolts from them, they were very helpful.

Figured it out.

Previous owner was mistaken and they accept ball seat.
