[QUOTE=_Nathan;7456654] The first picture below definitely shows that it is terra cotta. The color in the second picture looks different, but still doesn't look like natural brown. QUOTE]

Agreed. The first photo shows terra cotta. And the second and third
pics look like a worn version of natural brown.

You have two different cars here. I don't know why the dealer would
send you these photos--perhaps a mistake?

It's just changes in the lighting and exposure that are making the colors appear so different.

Exactly - I am more interested in what its like to drive than the colour of the seats.

I don't have any new pictures yet, been driving it!!! It is a BLAST to drive, even compared to my modified 944 turbo. My 944 seem to take some work to get the car to do what you wanted and drive fast, but this car it doesn't. You just jump in and drive it hard after even just an hour behind the wheel!! I have already had the PSM kicking in while going around corners fast. Then there is the how the car just drives normally. I would say it is as easy to drive as my wife accord, in a good way. The controls are very easy to use and just feels right. When you push the car hard, it just go without effort. I LOVE the steering on the car too! The car is dirty now but will try to take some better pictures this week and post up. No more pictures in the showroom but in real life on the street!!!

Great - take it easy for the first few weeks just to get used to it - plenty of time to stretch it later.

Default Black / Terracotta

Congratulations ! Below is a shot of my 2009 with a Black / Terracotta interior while still at the dealership. It definately looks different depending on the lighting and camera angle. I love the car and can't wait until it is properly broken in so I can find out what it will do.

Great looking car - I had the original 944 Turbo when it came out, loved the car on the track was not thrilled with it on the road. I have a new 2009 911S - great car - You will love it compared to your your 944 Turbo. Best of luck.

Ah, so it is Terracotta - I stand (errr...sit) corrected. (not for the first time )
What's the cable from the door to the area right above where your clutch pedal is?

The car with terracotta is not the OP's car. If you look at the carpet color in the OP's photos it is definitely sand beige, not terracotta.

The cable in the photo was to a solar battery charger above the dash. I'm not so sure how effective it was since the battery went dead at least once while on the dealers lot.
