Default Loving it every day

Hey guys,

Just came back from a trip to Joshua Tree and have a couple of pictures to share.

I also wanted to say that a day doesn't go back that I don't admire my car. I love looking at it, I love getting in and out of it, and I love driving it.

I share your joy!

Now that you've owned the 911 for a while, I bet you'll never again dare to compare it to your old BMW 3 series.

You remembered... 3 series? What 3 series?

It's hard for me to imagine driving anything else.

A couple of weeks ago I was parked at the local shopping mall and a mom with her little kid walked to get into the car next to me. The boy, who must have been around 5 said something to his mom. She then turned to me and said "my son says you have a very fast car." I laughed because I was parked with the engine off.

My own 7-year-old spotted a 933 for sale in the neighborhood a few weeks ago and yelled "Dad, look there's a Porsche for sale. I love Porsches!"

Passing the torch...

I am just amazed by this car. I came from 2 GT3s and a TT and this car is all that and more.

I'm happy with my old beater as well. Took a trip through Santa Barbara, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo counties this week--all great back roads.

There we go. The members of this forum know fully well that what they drive is special.

And Dan: your beautiful turquoise is not a beater. It is a jewel you wear every day!

Yeah, the turquoise was a color I never paid attention to until I saw it in person a couple of months ago. I found it to be an amazing Porsche color and it looks even better in a convertible...

Very nice. Really very nice. Thanks for the hit of Porsche-dopamine! Top pic is just so fine!

BTW, I love it how that new nano tachnology paint treatment for black actually repels dirt!

Here's wishing the rest of you great weather so that you can take those things off battery tenders and scrub the outer layer of rubber off those tires!
