Default Targa conversion for Turbo Cabrio by Techart

I've captured these photos of the Techart's brand new Targa conversion kit for 997.2 Turbo Cabrio on Geneva motor show last week.

The set looks very nice and hight quality in person. Roof panels seem to be made of carbon fibre, and can fit in the boot when dissembled.

Spoke with the guy on the stand, they did not have all of the technical data available (such as weight).

Being great fan of Targa's I liked it very much, could be a great alternative for the hard top. If roof panels were transparent instead of carbon fibre, I would like it even more.

The price is said to be in the neighborhood of EUR 10K.

Is it just me or the new Techart stuff just looks rice and cheesy?

I think they had some great bodywork stuff for 996 (maybe because OEM was just horrific), but I just can't find any Techart body work that looks better than OEM on 997?!

I don't care for it either. But that TechArt Panamera in the back looks interesting.

+1 not a fan. In my mind Ruf is a far superior mod company than overpriced techart

Not to mention techart races illegal cars at tuner gp when they are all supposed to be road legal. Such bull****.
