Default Group Buy - G-Bracket for V1 for 997

We are pleased to announce in collaboration with G Rides a group buy offer for their custom V-1 bracket for 997.

This custom made, unique product allows installation of V-1 to the lower point of your Auto Dimming Mirror (required).

These units are made in California from Aluminum, Anodized Black and include Mounting Hardware. This G Bracket combined with Hardwiring of your Valentine One makes for a clean and functional installation of your Valentine One.

Installation of The G Bracket requires the 2-piece plastic cover, which covers the steel mirror post, be removed (they are snapped together and not too difficult to pry apart) and those plastic covers need to be drilled, 1-hole per side. The Steel Housing which those plastic pieces cover, has a pocket on each side, which the Set-Screws from the G Bracket insert into giving a nice secure mount with very little movement and a solid mount. No more suction cups letting go!

We will collect emails from those interested, and in about 2 weeks we will contact each person directly with the group buy pricing and order information.

In addition, G Rides has also created a wiring harness assembly to ease the wiring of your V-1 and we will offer that product as well in combination with the G Bracket.

Of course the group buy will allow you to purchase the product(s) at a discount, and we will provide all pricing details prior to your ordering. There is NO obligation to get 'on the list'...but timing is critical.

The G Bracket does NOT apply to non auto dimming mirrors. Only 997 (.1 and .2, all variants) with auto dimming mirrors are applicable at this time.

Please email me directly to get on the list. Just reference G-Bracket RennList GB in the subject and provide your full name and address. Again, no obligation, details to follow. This will close on March 31st.

THANKS!

AH dammit Eric, I just bought one from Gary with the harness and am planning the install this weekend. This looks like the best set up for a v1 in a 997. Good luck with your sale.....

It's very pretty. How much? I have never had a suction cup let go. Only wish that it didn't make the unit that much more visible--hanging down that low. Mine is as high as the body will allow.

The unit lists for $49.95

The accompanying (and available in the group buy) wiring harness kit lists for $32.95.

Group Buy will be less than list. Pricing will be released to those who email us to get on the group buy interest list (again, no obligation), in about 2 weeks.

Thanks!

Eric, how much is the "paint to match the exterior color" option? Just kidding!

Nice bracket for the V-1!

Eric, could you post a photo of a mirror with the unit installed?

Alex, if you need a bracket for your "escort" I am sure she can accomodate you, but that is probably going to cost you extra!

Here's one shot of the mirror and unit together:

Nothing for the escort yet.

Wiring harness allows you to run the power across to the a pillar and down to the fuse panel, and includes all the necessary wiring, fuse taps and fuses.

Edgy01, How is your Valentine wired? To the dome lights or fuse panel?
Any photos?

I used to have mine in the same location and I hardwired it to the fuse box. YOu can hide the wire pretty good between the windshield and the headliner.
