Question Would even consider travelling to look at this car?

I have been looking for a Black/Black C2s for some time. it has been difficult to find a relatively low mile car with decent options. I am not necessarily looking for a loaded car but a car about an hour and a half away turned up recently. I have read hundreds of posts on 2005s and PCCB and neither have a great response to all of you knowledgeable members. Below is the options on this C2S with approximately 22,000 miles. I would require that the car be CPO'd. They are asking $55,000 for the car although I have not tried to negotiate the price at this point. I suspect that I could get the car CPO'd and priced at $50,000. Your thoughts are much appreciated.

You have been finding it difficult to find what you wanted. Its a no brainer to me only 1.5 hours away
Thats just around the corner IMO.. I would have already been there this weekend.
If its the car your looking for go tonight.

Car sounds good I would have a PPI done and if I liked it and they would get price to my wants or willing to pay it would be a deal.

Hope it turns out to be all you want. Good Luck

This is a launch car loaded with all the goodies. If you can get it CPO'd at or near $50k ( maybe lower ? ) I'd say you made a strong buy. It's certainly worth a look....

Over 65k on my '05. Not one issue with the car aside from regular maintenance.

I would certainly go take a look. The car is basically in your backyard.

Unless you live in a very, very highly populated city, you
will most likely have to travel to find the perfect to you 997.

I had to go 700 miles to find mine. Which is actually fairly close
in comparison to others on the board.

$50k, if it is in good shape and the PPI checks out, sounds like
a good price.

Good luck.

1.5 hours is SHORT for a car like this; Porsches are relatively few and far between, so traveling quite a bit to buy the "right" one is normal. I had to drive 3 hours for mine.

I flew to look at mine so I could drive it back. Cost me $1100 for a 1 hour flight.
Actually, the plane ticket was $69, and I lost $1000 playing BlackJack.
Car was in Vegas....

This reminds me of the gentleman who told me he had won $1,000
in Vegas playing BlackJack. I told him that was a nice win and asked
how he did it.
He said when he went out there, he figured he would lose $2,500, however, he
ended up losing only $1,500.

It's a launch car most likely (2005 in black with PCCBs). Go travel! But the price is high. I have seen for over a year people getting 06 Coupes 997S) with less miles for $50K.
