I think I'd be alittle worried about overrevs in ranges 3 thru 5. But if the car runs well and you have the security of it being CPO'd and you're getting it for a good price, you might want to go for it. I guess it also depends on how long you intend to keep it. If this is a long term commitment, then you might want to look for a cleaner car.

The mileage seems right for the operating hours.

Range 5 over-revs says warranty void. That car missed a shift or was spun.

When you say the car is CPO'd. Is this recenly been CPO'd...or is it under a current CPO.

Range 3-4-5 are bad. Usually voids warranty. I would check very carefully if the CPO is valid in spite of those over-revs which are No HTwo observed are a spin or missed downshift.
You cannot hit that range otherwise since the rev limiter prevents it. The Type 1's are an example of hitting the rev limiter. On my RS I had 2 (only) Range 1 in 1384 hours and no Range 2,3,4,or 5. That in spite of half my miles being on a race track.

The CPO warranty was just applied. I am walking from this deal since I have heard range 4 and 5 voids warranty on anything that could be related. Thanks

I just don't understand how Porsche is able to CPO a car with range 5 over-revs.

You are smart to walk, JNX. There is a better car for you in the near future. The search is fun! Enjoy.
