PERFORMANCE FRICTION pads - who uses them? A question --
#4
01s strictly, for all my track cars. been using them for years. superb performance till i tried them on my r35 - on that car, the front pads each cracked into 6-7 small pieces after 2 trackdays. might still try them on my 997.2

Craig, I normally use Pagid RS29 Yellows and buy them from you...but I have used Performance Friction PF97's front and rear in the past and really liked them.
I like the less finicky bed in and the extra intial bite of the PF97's.
I need new pads now for an upcomming April DE and am trying to decide between PF97 or Padgid Yellows.

I used PF01's on the Carrera. Not cheap, but fantasic pads. Lots of initial bite. They area a little tough on rotors and you will see brake temps rise when they get down to 50% pad life.

Has anyone tried Ferodo 3000? If so, how did they like it compared to Pagid Yellow?

I asked about useing 01's and was told for DE's and club racing to stick with 97's because they are easier on the rotors and still have that killer initial bite that the Yellows lack.

Well it's official :
I will be carrying Performance Friction PADS for all Porsche cars -
...shipment is on the way!
Hang tight, I'll be working over the next week to update the site -
In the meantime, e-mail me at rennstore@comcast.net with what you will require; I WILL have it shortly. It will be worth the brief wait until they arrive - about 4-5 business days is all
