"GoPro HD Hero Motorsports" cam- Google it. For $299 you get a cam and all the exotic mounting gear. I'm having fun and it'll go to 100 ft under the water too. I saw on TV the other night that the NBC camerman in Afghanistan wears one on his helmet, they are bomb proof I believe.

Very nice. Excellent choice! IMHO, they look better than Porsche's version. Less frilly - more form follows function. Oh yeah!

Great Video, very creative! Love the color of your 997 too. BTW if you get one of these you can see it go up in the rear view mirror

@ Bruce: Nice vid. Was on the edge of my seat waiting for each next deploy

@ Mick: Nice car. Clean simple mods. Love the wheels; with a P-car, simple just works. Oh, and beware of the Volvo Just got rid of a V70R (I've owned a few V-cars). I think that I've been immunized against sticker shock for life. Somehow I don't find Porsche parts that expensive anymore.

@ Dan: Great comments on aero and thanks for sharing your experience. The 9xx is shaped very similarly to an aircraft wing so it's easy to see the potential for generating lift at high speed.

I can just see the edge of mine in the rear window if I raise up in the seat a bit.

Yea--I had forgotten to mention the similarity to the chord of a wing of the 911 shape--it simply wants to fly, so something has to be done to 'spoil' the lift. So the story goes, many years ago, a Porsche mechanic was working on a 911 and had inadvertently left the deck lid up when he took it out for a test drive. He noticed how much more stable the car was and the rest is history.
