Howdy 997 folks.

Does anyone know how to remove the **** from the shift boot for this setup?

On the underside, there seems to be a plastic locking collar on top of the Alcantara.

I was going to remove it by gently prying it off, but figured I'd ask here first. Thanks!

 

Rotate the "locking-collar" 90 deg. clockwise. I used two locking pliers and slowly raised the shift **** off. Worked great.

Got it. I just did it by hand, holding the **** in one hand and the base/boot in the other. Twist and pull; perfect. Thanks!
