Default Recommendation for a PPI shop in Boston

Who would you recommend for a PPI for an 06 997 in the Boston area.

Prime Motors (ex-Clair) in Norwood/Dedham
Chambers in Boston or in Burlington

or some other independent shop.

Thanks

Prime in Norwood, service manager Sean McGuire. He is a great guy.

Burlington place is a dump and attitude is horrible. I had PPI scheduled there and when I came there with seller we were told that they never heard of us and have no mechanics available to assist us. It was outrageous. Their facility is also quite bad, go to Norwood and you`ll see right away how different it is.

I was inclined before posting to go to Prime as I bought and serviced my previous Porsches there.
I like their service and attitude.
Thanks for the recommendation.

Sean at Prime is great. You could also PM Alfie who's with Ira about who he might choose.
I would not go to Chambers....awful in every respect.

Just curious, that's a brand new facility up there---or do they still service out of the old Pass & Weis building?

Jerry Pelligrino @ EPE in Natick s the cream of the crop as far an indy's go.

For the water cooled cars, I have also been impressed with Paul at Porsche Nashua. He's kept my Cayenne S going for 100,000 miles with no issues.

For you north shore guys, check out FasTrack Automotive in Peabody. Scott and Jamie are PCA/SCCA guys and excellent mechanics. I absolutely swear by them.

I used Jerry`s shop as well as Bill Physter`s Eurotech shop in Framingham. They both are quite knowledgeable people, Jerrys` facility is bigger but some smaller stuff is sometimes better get done with Bill.

Nevertheless, I do not think it is in your best interest to do PPI with an independent mechanic if your car still on warranty - primary or CPO and you do plan on using same dealership for repairs. Speak to Sean, ask to be nearby with mechanic during PPI - it is allowed, ask questions, make yourself known and remembered in a good way and it will make everything easier later on.
