She's a beauty, congrats! Be careful with that Aero kit's front lip though, it'll scrape on just about anything.
It's pretty scraped up as it is, my only concern is if i it breaks through the bumper (gulp), but i'm careful!

Congrats, very tasteful but why the C4? Need the snow traction much in Kuwait?

Did it come with the Porsche badge on the side ala Ferrari?
Really small used car market over here. You're lucky enough finding a clean car, yet alone the model/options you want. Badges came with the car.

Yeah, I do like those side mounted Porsche badges - where can one get a pair of those?
Looks even better in person! Previous owner got the badges from the dealer installed. About $140 for each badge - you can find it online for much cheaper.

What's the point? The beauty of Porsche design is its simplicity and lack of unnecessary clutter.
I think it looks great.

The point is - different strokes for different folks. If you can't answer the question, please don't tell me your opinion of what my Porsche should look like.

The car is a looker for sure, I love red Porsches. Congrats!

But the color scheme plus those Ferrari wannabe side badges leads me to believe the prince's current ride must be a prancing horse.

I wish red was more common, it looks awesome with the aero kit and the turbo wheels.

The badges are lame but that's pretty minor. Congrats.

I offered the perspective from a long term P-car fan which I think reflects the majority view. You have another perspective and I appreciate learning about it. There's no reason to de defensive.

Beware though that the std badges require drilling. Are you willing to risk rust?

*If* I did do this, I'd find badges that could adhere with glue or such, like what the rear Carrera decals are applied with, just in case I wanted them removed.

AFAIK, The hood badge _IS_ held on with two studs with nuts.

OTOH, that double stick tape, is no ordinary tape. It's seriously used in the auto industry. I'm sure you could grind down the studs and use the tape. If it doesn't already come stuck to the badges that you might buy, I've seen it in auto supply catalogs.

BTW, I doubt those gorgeous red fenders were drilled, how would they get access to the studs to put the nuts on?

If I'm not mistaken, the Scuderia badge on the Ferrari fenders is a decal. That'd be the way to go if I were doing it.

Congratulations. I think the Porsche badge on the side panel looks good.
Drive her well.

The "C" from the rear "Carrera" badge has been snapped off due to cleaning before purchase. Going to be replaced. What color do you think would look best? I'm thinking matte black, glossy black, or silver.

Perhaps silver to match wheels and trim?

Tough question, as this is based on personal preferences.

As for me, I like to keep things stock, just as the car left the factory.

Lots of photos of Porsches here on Rennlist. Take a look around and select what you like best.

Good luck!

After having done a photoshop of black i've decided to go with silver. Appreciate the advice.
