Default Cleaning around the "Carrera" Logo - Best Ways?

Yesterday, I was washing the P-Car in the garage after a nice long
run and became obsessed with the "Carrera" logo on the rear. I could not get
the areas around the lettering as clean as I'd like with my shamy.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get in between the lettering?

IMO, a chamois isn't a good tool for cleaning. Some feel it's a good tool to dry a vehicle... I prefer other tools... but it's not good to clean.

I use a good quality, MF sponge. I have no problems getting in the small areas there or around the "S" logo.

Q tips with a little rubbing compound and then quickly polish, wash, rinse

A good preventative measure is waxing well in that area. It will keep the water from collecting in there, which in turn will attract the dirt. But don't bugger it up with too much.

As I look at my post, I see I really screwed up the spelling of "chamois" in my post. I must have been thinking about the ShamWow.

Thanks for the quick replies guys.

I use a soft bristle tooth brush; one that's been used for a while works pretty well. If you're washing the car just use the car wash soap to clean with the brush. For touch up, spray with something like Meguiars Qwik Detailer which helps loosen any wax buildup, provides lubrication for the paint while you brush, and leaves some protection afterwards. Dry with a microfiber towel and q-tips to get into any hard to reach corners.

+10 to Dan if well waxed, cleaning this should be as easy as rinsing I know I have tried to be more aggressive, and snapped the "s" twice already by having the sponge ends get caught and pull it up

I do not see what the problem is. And no problem at all, as Dan says, if waxed with Klasse Sealant Glaze (my preference) or Rejex.

I found the easiest solution to the problem is simply to go with the "delete model designation" option

No problem here at all. Oh wait, I ordered my car without the rear badge Honestly, consider removing the Carrera altogether and have a nice clean look.
