Question GT3 Kit Question

Picture 1

Picture 2

Look at these two pictures. You see where the lower lip is painted black in the first picture and red in the second? Is that piece removable?

About to buy a C4S with this kit. That piece is completely scratched underneath and was wondering if i need to replace the whole bumper or simply remove that piece. Owner does not have original bumper.

Thanks in advance.

I can't see the first pic, but I think I know what you're talking about.

Yes, the very lower part of the front lip is a separate piece. You can either get it primed to be painted like the factory part that comes with the aerokit, or you can buy the black plastic part that fits the same model year GT3. I have the aerokit on my '07 and within 2 weeks of buying the car, put the GT3 part on. It's now scratched and torn all the hell and I'm about to replace it with another piece of sacrificial black plastic.
