Default Sport Classic Exhaust Tip... anyway to order it?

I was wondering if there's any luck getting the 911 Carrera Classic Tips? I know it is limited production so not sure if they release those as parts, specially to US! I think it looks GREAT!

Looks like you will also need a different bumper cover for those tips.
LOVE those wheels!

Hmm, wouldn't it fit right where we got our openings? It may leave some free space on the sides as probably not as wide.

The 997.1 bumper has squared off cut outs for the tips. The cut outs on the classic's bumper appear to be round.
Those tips might look odd on the 997.1 or .2 if you don't also change the bumper.
IMO Those tips aren't that great. The look like the one's off a BMW 335i.

Wheels like those will be available in the USA in March 2010.

How about the taillights??? I think the clear lens is really great looking - wonder if that will be an available option for the 997.2 generally???

It's been my experience with Porsche that anything can be had for the money. In time most of those parts will appear on their price lists. Of course, be prepared to take out another loan...

Eagerly anticipate their unveilling, but wonder at what price?

Am I the only one who likes that ducktail?

I asked my dealer if they can order it - they told me no, have no info about this at all. Too bad. That would make my C2 look very different from the other 997s.

Is there any reason you'd have to use OEM Porsche tips? While nice-looking, they also seem "generic" enough that you'd be able to use tips from another manufacturer.

I posted this elsewhere. Very similar to other wheels here in the States. Not those gouge you prices from Porsche AG.

Not necessarily, but I HAVE TO YET to find a well-manufactured Tip that doesn't look cheap. For instance, AWE tip while nice, it just SCREAMS aftermarket...
