Euro Delivery.

But seriously considering a trip back with the same car for an extended vacation in Europe.

Wonderful place, the Amalfi Coast. So you had your vehicle shipped there? and drove through Europe?

Euro Delivery. Drove it south beyond Amalfi, and then back through Switzerland into Germany. Dropped it back in Zuff. for them to ship it to California. 3200 miles in nearly 4 weeks. Much fun!

I think it's the way the YouTube compressed the file. Original is HD and in stereo.

would love to hear the original if there's a way to post it... I can "hear" the sound as it should be and I think it sounds great. Not sure why Porsches get bad rep for aweful sounding engines. I love the raw metallic vibrato of a 997 engine! Thank you for sharing!

It figures... Italy is my absolute favorite for road trips. Twisty roads (even highways), beautiful scenery, great food, and best of all: everybody drives around 100mph on the highways and there is no radar/laser control. What they have is a camera system called "Tutor" that uses image recognition on the license plates and calculates average speed of the car. However it does not recognize any plates outside of the European Union, so...

My recommendation for your next road trip in Europe would be South of France (starting from Monte Carlo and going west to Nice, Cannes, Saint Tropes...) and Provance. Even better roads than in Italy, beautiful countryside, vine cellars... Police not as tolerant to the speed violation thought...

This is a tempting thought. Have you researching the complexity of shipping without "importing" the car?

Impressive. Much better that I did on my honeymoon in a rental Mercedes. The walls were tapering but I didn't realize it was impassable til I was a half mile into the trap. Tedious drive back out in reverse.
