Nice car, sounds like a great deal. What's with the old fire boots? On the job?

Long time Volunteer, my old pair. Great to wear when washing cars.

I didn't notice how bad a picture that is when it's on a computer screen, I took it with my phone.

I will take some good picks tomorrow. On Sunday mornings when the weather is good the car guys on LI go to Captree boat basin and park and chat. Some weeks there are 500 cars of all types, and bikes too.

We have been having some bad weather, but got a chance to take it out for a spin and get some pictures. The wheels are a little dirty, and it has some paint swirls but nothing some time and elbow grease won't cure.

Very nice. Good going! I see huge potential in that garage. May I suggest taking all the stuff off the wall (throw it in a pile somewhere, who cares?!) so the car looks like it's in an art gallery? Maybe get some track lighting for highlights ($50 home depot). Bins are okay, just line them up a bit.

Nice car. I noticed it took you three days from the day of your first post asking for advice, until the day you bought the car. I think it's going to take me a bit longer than that before I pull the trigger (by a few months...). Then again, although I've lurked on rennlist before, I've never been so serious about buying one (I just had a good meeting with the bossman on Friday...).

Great looking car. Glad to see you were able to get it out today. And remember the best price for a car is the one that satisfies your desire and wishes. No need to justify to everyone else. Now go and enjoy your new racing machine. And remember the swirl marks can always be removed with a good detail.
