i know these are hard to find this time of year, but anybody selling a 997 ski rack?

 

I would also be interested, particularly with accessories.

If you have the roof rack a simple ski rack can be fashioned with a couple of carriage bolts, washers and lock nuts. I made one for mine. It's fine for everything but locking the skis on the car.

 

If you get the adapters & crossbars you can mount virtually any Thule equipment you'd like.

 

Does Thule make the racks?

 

Thule doesn't have a fitment for the 997's...only the 993's. I've also checked with Yakima and they too don't have a fitment.

So...its Porsche factory Roof Rack or bust. I'm actually thinking of having something welded to the rear support frame to accomodate a hidden rear hitch mount rack...
