Default Cheap Battery Maintainer / charger

I came across this battery maintainer/charger, thought some of you might need one I feel your pain, not driving your pcar for so long, just make sure it's ready when the ice is gone...

EDIT: It was $10, now $31.99
Update: $23.04In stock January 8

Seems like a good deal if it works

While you're there grab some reading material for your idle time.

These are the few I've read, your suggestions are welcome!

IMO, stick with Porsche unit. In the unlikely even of fried electronics, for $20 more, your warranty won't be challenged. Plus, charging a battery is not a simple process, lots going on in there electro-chemically, perhaps Porsche has the better (more sophisticated) product ?

no, haven't used it. I just found it posted somewhere else. Yes according to the reviews seems to be a good product and being duracel I figured they probably know a thing or two about batteries.

I got the CTEK Multi US 3300 Smart Charger and it's the same as the one sold by Porsche (same manufacturer/design), but for 1/2 of the price.

Here's the OEM Smart Charger from Porsche:
