Default 997.1 S without cats, anyone try it?

Just wondering what happens with the ECU since it is not seeing the delta after the cat.

Does the system go into duty cycle or limp mode?

Or maybe you need a custom remapping.

thanks.

I have a 997.1 non S without cats. Had custom remapping for the ECU.

Cool, did they remap sans cats or just disable the CEL?

Hows she run?

The car won't go or shouldn't go into limp mode but obviously will kick off a CEL light at sometime. FVD sells a 02 sensor extension that pulls the rear 02 sensor somewhat out of the exhaust stream to avoid this...

Here it is..

P-car owners are responsible citizens and do not remove cats.

Why the heck would you want to remove the cats? Even the factory Cup cars run with cats. I can understand using higher performance race cats, but removing them altogether seems like the wrong thing to do.

I think the extensions only work when using 100 cel cats, I dont think they will prevent CEL with no cats.
