Default Creaking sound

My car makes weird creaking sounds whenever it isn't flat, for example if I go over some speed bumps or when I come off of an incline sideways, is this normal or do I have a loose suspension component?

You will find that Buckwheat disagrees with absolutely everything
I say; even though he knows I am correct.

A little body creaking when going over small inclines, such as when
I pull into my parking garage at work, is normal.

A drastic clunk or shattering bolts and glass would not be normal.

yes...thankfully.

He did not talk about little creaking...he spoke about whenever it was not flat...that means constant creaking in my book...that is not normal...

now to the OP.....

do a search on squeaks or creaks...I did but don't know how to post the results...

you will find many posters write they have no squeaks or rattles in their cars.

it is not normal and you should go to the dealer and have it checked out.

in my experience, a good dealer will go out of their way to correct it, if it annoys you. Mine did. I used hear a little sound i guess could be described as "creak" when I go down a heavy incline onto flat surface as is often the case in my parking garage, but either it's no longer there now that the car's got many miles or I just dont listen for it and don't hear it. I did have a vibrating problem on the sun-roof going over bumps and any noticeable road irregularities (the sun roof would literally vibrate like a drum) and my dealer silenced it after 3 tries at it.

Both of my 997S have had a creak similar to what the OP described.

The creaking usually comes from the rear windscreen.
Spray some silicon around it or rather a lot of silicon around it just before you wash your car, it should help .
