Over the top?
Just because you can have your whole interior color matched doesn't mean you should?
Yes I know with Porsche you can configure at will.
I'd love to see the sticker on this GT2 but as usual he missed the deviating stitching on the ebrake and gearshift! But some how remembered to spec the "Y" Trim on the Steering Wheel in Leather.

I like it for a gt2 which, for a street car, is over the top. Maybe the shift **** and e-brake are alcantara and don't have the yellow stitch available?

Good call... I saw a thread on this topic on 6speed, I think. It seems that if the shifter and ebrake are, indeed, alcantara in this picture, then they are not "exclusive options," and PCNA offers deviated stitching only on exclusive options. It does appear the shifter and ebrake in this picture are the standard GT2 alcantara, but the steering wheel appears to be leather, and would then of course be an exclusive option for the GT2, and would be available with deviated stitching. Maybe daddyscar's "alcantara theory" is a good one...the bottom line seems to be that you have to order these items as exclusive options in order to get the deviated stitching on them.

You have to spec each section in deviated stitching - It's a real bitch IMO. I've seen a Red Cayman / black interior. with red deviated stitching and it wasn't on all the sections. It looked like ****. I believe it was on the seat and not on the stitching on the door/ dash or other way around. Can't remember now I just thought damn why isn't a "professional" consulted when it goes into the order bank?
The customer was just as tacky - --- a middle age asian lady with too much red on her own attire, lipstick, nails etc. "Red is my color baby."

True or Myth - I like it.
The rancher from texas wanting his brand in the headrest in a leather to sample. This was told to me at the factory by a german so it has to be true. right? who knows? I liked the principles of the idea.
If you want it. Porsche will do it, for a price.

I was wondering what that much exterior color on the interior would look like. I like it and I hate it, at the same time. It makes me think of the Elise and that ultra-lightweight-don't-bother-with-carpets-just-let-the-metal-stick-out way of doing things. Then again, it's clearly not a case of "not covering the car to avoid adding weight," and it's so very bright and, well, tacky.

GT2 owners hang out at 6speedonline, don't they?
Is it just me or does 6speedonline attract the more "flash" type of owner?
