With the Boxster Spyder just out I can't help but wonder if a 997.2 Speedster might not be on the way. Mostly I'm wondering because of all the Speedster threads of late on the 964 and 993 boards. I really think these are the ultimate sports cars. Not necessarily ultimate performance cars like GT3s and RSs but sports cars. Warm Fall day, winding road, sound of the engine...
Imagine a 997 C2 widebody, chopped windshield and bumpy roof cover like the Spyder and Speedsters.
Why not....they did the Sport Classic.
Any amazing photoshop artists out there?

There was a 997 Speedster-looking spy photo out there in the last year. It was likely a prototype for the Boxster Spyder, or perhaps a 997 Speedster.
A 911 Speedster has been on my "list" since 1989. Made a couple offers back when prime examples were in the low $40s; kicking myself for not pursuing it more vigorously.

That would make way to much sense... took them how many years to deliver a 19' fuch wheel and a OEM duck tail..I mean come on..... Porsche fans been begging for the same for years....your request makes 1000% logical sense but we will see if it ever happens....
