Default First service (9K miles), what should I do?

So, I'd be doing the first service on my 997 C4S. It has 14K km (9K miles).

Dealership said it's time to do a service, Oil/filter+fuel injector cleaning (I think they just gonna do a bottle). They wanted more than $500 for it!!!

Now, some other places that do Porsche quote $270ish (canadian dollar). Using Total oil as opposed to Mobile-1, and using Lubro Moly fuel injector cleaner.

Questions:
1. Is this all I need to do?
2. Is Fuel injection cleaning needed?
3. What oil is best? Is Total Porsche-approved Oil fine?
4. What's a reasonable price for oil change?

Thanks!

Fuel injector cleaning? Why? Is this called for in the manual?

Porsche approved Total synthetic should be fine.

If you're a DIYer you could do this service yourself (including a bottle of Lubro Moly injector cleaner) for less than $100.00 US.

My dealer. in Boise, Idaho, will sometimes do a special on an oil change for $90-100 US.

Live in a condo, so can't do DYI. How much oil is needed/what price?

I think they're throwing that Fuel Injector CRAP to make their Oil service sound different! I am gonna check again if it's just a bottle, or some sort of a device to clean the injectors (running stuff through it). I HIGHLY doubt it though.

I know topic of "best oil" is usually biased, but coming from Audi, and being a first-time Porsche owner, what's the consensus here? I actually liked Motul and Lubro Moly as the best oil for my Audi S4... not sure what works best on these 997 engines (I track the car 5-6 times a year).

Thanks

The only thing I would do at that point is change the oil and filter. It's simple. The car really doesn't need the injector cleaner--seems premature for that!

Mobil 1 0W 40.
There are a few other weights and Brands that are also Porsche approved.
