New-for-2009 Porsche child seats - ? problem
Trying to locate the following new-for-2009 child seats:
Porsche Junior Plus car Seat (part number 955 044 802 90).
and Porsche Junior Seat Isofix (part number 955 044 802 88).
Local dealer seems to be having difficulty getting hold of them. Been on order for four weeks.
Parts department guy says Porsche ordering system indicates out of stock in US with stock available in Germany but no shipment date listed which is apparently unusual and a marker for a problem such as "pulled from availability."
Anybody managed to get hold of these seats recently?

I have read elsewhere that people have removed the back & seat cushion to get a bit more room, but mine fit well, i drive my daughter to daycare everyday in it, it's solid as a rock
I'm back home tomorrow, i'll take some pics & post

I have a Roundabout too but I can't get it to fit tightly in my rear seat. I'm using the car's seatbelt to secure the seat. I've tried it with and without the base, without seat backs and seat cushion. No matter how tight I get the belt, you can lift the seat up.
How did you secure your seat?

The only thing i remember we did extra was losen the belt buckle (where the belt ties in), moved it upwards and re-tighten, this helped to secure it better with the angle the belt came out of the back of the britax
I'll take some pics and post them tomorrow when i get back

I have two of the Porsche Plus Child Seats (95504480103).
They fit absolutely perfectly in the back seats of the 997 without removing the seat bottom or back cushion. I got them from Suncoast for a great deal.
No offense, but there is no way that I'm gluing a child seat to my car.

PS: I think Elusive was just using "glued" to describe how tight his seats are, not that he actually glued them.

I think they state ages 3-12 or something like that.
I bought two of them so that they would match, but only my 3 year old is using it right now. She's on the taller size and it works great. As soon as my son (1.5 now) hits about 3 he'll start using it as well. I'm very happy with them and they are a perfect fit. I was very impressed how they fit in there like a glove. Wasn't worth the hassle in my opinion of trying to find a seat that didn't fit in there well and altering anything or juryrigging anything to make it work.
These sell for $220 I think at suncoast.
