Question help with wheels

Hi guys, looking at pix for a while now but cant decide between

997 turbo oem 19"
forgestart f14 mat black 19"
OZ ultraleggera mat black 19"

This will be on a silver 2008 997 4S

Any opinions and if possible pictures...?

I'm not a fan of the turbo rims at all. The Forgestar are the nicest out of those 3.

My vote goes to the OZ ultraleggera mat black 19". I almost got a set of these in silver if I didn't go with my HRE P40's. The Ultra's are made by a reputable company and are pretty light for being a cast wheel. Be sure to check in with Damon at TireRack if you go with these.

Out of curiosity, what are you running at present (i.e., brand/model)? What reasons are behind your purchase of another set of wheels (e.g., second set to have on hand, dissatisfaction with current brand/model/style, tracking ambitions)? This information will help us understand your situation and requirements, yielding better advice. Please let us know.

IMO the turbo wheeels are the "ruffled leather" of rims

I agree. The Turbo wheels look like they belong on a Nissan "Z."

You can't critique other wheel designs if you are riding on "lobster claws".

+1 for Forgestar

I'll give you that.

Although, I do like the lobster claw better than the turbo wheel.

I am currently looking for a new set of wheels as we write.

Guys that helps. I currently have the standard silver lobster wheels. Too little contrast with the (artic silver) car. Interested in any pictures of full black wheels (OZ, F14, anything) on silver 997 that has not been lowered. Lowered always looks better, but I like my current ride...

Dont have the wheels yet ... hence no pix. Am actually tending towards the F14 but now in between mat or piano black. Piano black is currently no 1 on my list. What I like about F14 versus OZ is that the suggested/available width and offset really puts all wheels flush with fender with no spacer. The offsets Tirerack uses (for my C4S) are strange - front too far out and rear still too much in.

Always like this period of shopping while I change my mind...

I will post pix once I have it all figured out and installed...

After hrs of browsing finally found color combo I am considering: see attached. I think it looks very cool, in particular this angle. Mine is a 4S with full red rear lights. IMHO will look even better from this angle...

Returned, go to Tire Rack... select your car, year, model, etc. select the wheel and (underneath the wheel price) select view on vehicle to get an idea of what the OZ will look like on your car. FWIW those are 20" OZ's on my black `06 C2S and diamond black BBS RS-GT's on my Cayenne S in the background.
