C2S winter tires... Pirelli 240?
#16
I am also on the Sottozeros on my C4 daily driver. Only two days in the snow so far, but no complaints. Several days on wet and cold roads without any issues. Certainly feel softer than my summer tires, but the confidence is worth it. I agree that you should get a second set of wheels too. Easy to find good Porsche wheels taken off new Porsches for wheel upgrades. They are all over ebay and show up on this site every now and then.

Reminder, for whatever it's worth.......I believe there is some dif between reg. 240 Sottozeros and the Serie II (that dovpcar asked about)......there is some dif in size availability also.
I've used reg 240 SnowSports for years on various PCars....excellent.....but if I try to order Serie IIs for the wife's 09 C4s Cab on the TR site.....a window reminds me that they are not ideal, as they have a higher load rating than OE spec (result, increased ride harshness).
....so for the new winter fitments going on her car I may be selecting my ole friend, 240 SnowSports.

There maybe some differences between the reg. 240 Sottozeros and the Serie II but from what I can tell they are both N1 rated. My Scottozeros are N1, have the same tread pattern but does not have the serie II on the side...so I assume that they are the reg. 240's.
