Default Experience with new OEM outdoor cover?

Below are shots of an OEM outdoor cover (OEM Part No. 997-044-000-11) in various unfolding states. It is actually a neat design. It comes inside an envelope with a suction cup that is installed over the windshield and self-aligns the cover. The envelope and zipped cover can be tucked in the windshield. Like any cover it is easier to put in place and remove with 2 people.

Experience from people who actually used it is welcome.

Looks very nice. The zipper is somewhat concerning, but I would assume that it's padded to protect the paint if contact occurs.

Can't tell for certain, but it looks like the cover uses the fabric called Silverguard. It's very shiny, but when used outside, don't be surprised if it dulls considerably. No worries, though, as it retains its functionality. Haven't used the OEM cover, but I have used Coverking Silverguard covers. The fabric is excellent.

Good choice!
