This one looks like it comes with its own compressor:

Well it's not like I pulled the thing out of my ***.

BTW, that pic is from Amazon. Is it just me or does that control box look a bit soiled?

Yes (see my thread embedded above). It was in my 997.1 C4S and is now in my 09 TT. It does take up quite a bit of the room! BTW, my cars do not have the 6-CD changer,...I do not know if that makes a difference in the fit in the AWD cars.

Last week I got a flat on my wifes car... Slowly loosing air ... turned out to be a paper staple.... not a paper clip but a paper staple... right on the edge of the outside edge of the tire... ten minutes later it was repaired and I'm sure I"ll never have to deal with that spot again.. Never had a plug fail...

The thing to remember, is that if you had the spare in the frunk, and put it on the car, now that space in the frunk is AVAILABLE... so you can relocate some things from the back seats into the frunk to make room for the flat wheel and tire behind the passengers seat.

Only if you have 2 toddlers in the back seats do you have an issue.

How difficult is it to replace the serpentine belt?
What is the life expendency of it?
What causes premature wear?
Tools required and directions?
