Me too! But if it's only "temporary" then...

I have the JCS version, in my trunk with the plate on, just in case. Otherwise I drive without a front plate and have not been stooped yet in 6 mo.

JCS was easy to deal with and his product is a great solution for a temporary front plate.

Is this for both 997.1 and 997.2 models?

Get the JCS. At $39 it's half the cost of the others, and quality is still good.

Just ordered mine this morning and Rolf already has it shipped! Thank you, Rolf.
BTW I too plan to keep it in the truck, should I get pull over or need to install temporarily.
Thank you for a great solution!

I keep mine at home. If it is the trunk, it would be hard to explain, if stopped, why it was not on. This way I can promise to get a plate on "by tomorrow after I drill holes in the car" and hopefully get off with a warning.
In over 10 yrs of driving cars without a front plate, I have yet to be stopped (there's the kiss of death!)

I have a color matched SpeedLingerie Bra with a pocket for the front plate. Looks great and puts the plate in the center/front instead of some goofy angle. It's not cheap but it's a great alternative.....

Did you all see this?

Pretty soon there will be even more aggressive enforcement of front plate requirement. Maybe even new laws in states requiring front plates.

Check out top flight reproductions, its a corvette bracket that fits our cars, you screw the holes in the middle opening either on the roof of the opening or the bottom part of it, have it on my Cayman s and will be putting it on my 911 when i pick it up this week. Its not cheap, cost me about a $100 bucks, but beats putting hole in the FRONT of your bumper.

Anyone know if the Skenedesign bracket fits on a 997 bumper?
