I had the same problem with my 06 C2 w/17k miles last month. I thought it was me: I moved the seat forward, made sure the car was warm (up here in the NW), became very sensitive to up/down shifts, 2-3000 RPM range, 4-5000 RPM range. Same thing, it would pop out or not engage into 2nd gear. Took it in, the tech replicated the same symptoms. Porsche put in a Reman tranny under warranty.
