By the time you own a Porsche you should have at least one floor jack in your home garage inventory. And you should have 4 serious jack stands, as well. (This is, if you actually want to do any work on your cars yourself). One of these days I will post my procedures for putting a 997 on 4 jack stands, without damaging or risking anything. I use this process all the time, and it's foolproof.

Count me in, too, Dan. I'd love insights on your technique for placing a 997 on jack stands. I'd also value your advice on recommended equipment and preferred manufacturers. Hope to see this soon...
