Pulled the trigger - my new 2009 C2S
Been here for a while and have learned a great deal. Thanks to all you smart people for all the help.
I just pulled the trigger this week on a new 2009 C2S. Its my 4th Porsche and I absolutely love it. I still have my 40th anniversary which I love but this is a whole 'nother level. It has PDK, Sports Chrono Plus, SPASM, BT, PCM, Bose and a few odds and ends. Pretty basic interior but thats obviously a big step up from the 996. I am still breaking her in, so taking it a bit easy.
The versatility of the car is astounding. In non- sport mode - its easy to be cruising quitely along - chatting on the phone. In sport mode, the driving dynamics are awesome and I use that mode pretty much all the time. Sports PASM is very cool and I really like it. Cant wait to try launch control .
Many thanks to BailyBonds (did I spell that correctly) who is my new Rennlist buddy that I havent met in person. He referred me to his dealer and they were very accommodating. I think I got a very good deal - and they just happened to have one that had all the options I really wanted.
Hope the pics turned out OK. I'll probably sell the 40th. Its in really great shape and I have all the luggage etc. Have owned it for 4.5 great years. I know, I need the clear side markers for the Rennlist police. Thanks again guys.

And to me, the black cars look good with orange side markers - adds some contrast and looks classic, especially with cars with colored crests in the wheel centers.
