Self Dimming Mirrors - Retrofit Possible?
I did a search on this, but I couldn't really find a clear answer:
Is it possible to retrofit a 997.2 with the OEM self dimming mirrors? It's the only option I wanted when purchasing that I didn't end up getting...although I'm not losing sleep over it, it is something I would like to try to add to my car if possible.
Anyone else here have experience with this?
Thanks,
Dave

Porsche can't do it - wiring is not in place.

You mean that an item that came standard on my 24 K VW should also come for free on my 89 K Porsche ?
Next thing you know, you'll expect Porsche to start giving us things like electric seats....
As far as I know, the only thing I ever got for free from Porsche was the "model delete"option.

Yep - kind of odd - reckon its a tradition thing. I have not really missed them as much as I feared I would.
