Just a thought- having participated in PCA events, including for example the Potomac Region's trip to Fallingwater this past June, I've met a variety of P-car owners including 997 owners who are all nice, polite, intelligent, and curious people from a diverse set of backgrounds. One PCA motto is "it is the people" and they are right.

But someone reading some of the above posts, here in the 997 forum which is open to the public (unlike OT and P&C which is closed), could come away with a negative opinion of 997 owners and PCA members.

That said, I still have my PCA sticker on the bookshelf right behind where I am sitting now. One of these days I'll remember to put it on, in the rear triangle window on the driver's side like others have said. DC doesn't like extra stickers on the windscreen.

haha... i'm with the guys who say that this is more like putting a sticker IN your car than ON your car. Plus this "sticker" peels off really easily so I don't think it really even counts. So really, you're putting a removable semi-adhesive decal within your vehicle more than you're "putting a sticker on your car"

Mine is sitting in its original envelope. But this thread is tempting me to put it on. If I did, I think I'd place it on the driver side rear quarter pannel glass right in the curve by the c-pillar.

Mine, both the PCA stickers and the regional sticker, are sitting in the envelopes they came in. So far, I've not been motivated to apply them, not having been active enough with the activities. If I did mount them, it would probably be in the rear side windows of the 997.2.

For bumper stickers.. well its not a liberal thing. Have you never been to the south? My favorite I recall said: "Don't blame me, I voted for Jeff Davis."

I think it should go on the fender of the bike that is riding in your bike rack on top of your +/-$100k car.

That would look extra "snazzy!"

I have 2 of the small (what are they, like 1.5"?) ones on my 997.2S. Same as most, side back seat windows, closer to the door opening - one on each side of the car. On the Boxster S there's one small one on the bumperette, right side. Left side is my CT 100 Club (support group for public safety members - police, fire, etc.). Balances things out. Otherwise, I have no stickers and don't even have the Carrera S badge (bug, wax, leaf trap). I've never been a sticker / badge kind of guy, but I do like showing the Porsche Club of America logo. P.S. Mine are the "inside" type.
