Beautiful car! Great pictures!
Don't worry about that vibration in the seats of your new 997. It may just be a new "feature" of the upgrade to the "sport" seat package. But your girlfiend will probably appreciate it more than you.
If you must, have it looked at. If they give you the all clear, then press on regardless.

Wills,

You seats are vibrating from your butt being so happy with your new purchase. Use the car in good health. https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/beerchug.gif

Basalt Black

When I first start my car at time the idle is "lumpy" and I feel some vibration, I am not concerned since I think it is a characteristic of the engine. If your dealer tells you it is a problem please let us know.

Congratulations! I too had a rough idle that caused the passenger seat (properly on the right side of the car) to rattle. What fixed it was unexpected. Left the key in the ignition over night and the battery went dead. Jump start cranked her right up and the ECU was therefore reset. That cured the "rough idle" situation. I'd talk with your dealer and let him know the issue - your new car shouldn't have any issues. Perhaps suggest the "rough idle" concept and he may suggest you disconnect the battery for a certain amount of time to reset the ECU.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Nice car. Where exactly have you been flogging the M3 and plan to do the same to the 997.

To stop the vibration, take out the battery!! Nice car, for a change, a rightsided steering. Haven't seen one for a long while. Just wondering, does it handle better than the left sided version? is th gas peddle on the right or on the left? How do you do the skid? been taught using right hand to pull on the handbrake, now the left? Oh Boy! Again, Nice!!!!
