Well, after taking the Dension GW 500 with BT to two installation shops, neither of which could figure out to install this thing, I'm at a loss.
I have an 06 C2S with CD Changer and Nav. The Dension instructions were a little less than helpful. I thought I had everything plugged in right, but when I started the car, I got a warning message that the AMP, CD Changer and Nav was not available. Does anybody have detailed, IDIOT proof instructions they could share to get this thing installed? I know there are 1 million threads about this unit, but not one that I could find showed a detailed step-by-step instruction on how to do this. It shouldnt be that hard!
The instructions were fairly clear, just plug, wire leads and play for the CD changer install.
Did you try turning switch on remote controller up and down three times to reset the unit?
Did you turn off the car and allow to sit, lock then unlock to reset everything?
Did you check the Dip switches for proper setting?
If you did get it from us, just email me. And did you read the three files we sent you with clearly detailed information on installation, user guide and programming before attempting the installation?
I just called your number, it's 8:45pm, email me and let me know when you will be at that number.
I had a bit of a problem with my install and Eric stuck with me day and night and even on his vacation and we got it to work. I will add that the bluetooth and i-pod really work great. I will add some pics that might help. The first two are connected incorrectly and the third pic is connected properly. The white and green plugs have to be in the proper place for the bluetooth to work. If you install instructions are anything like mine were you wont find a hookup that agrees with pic three but pic three is correct. Eric went to Dension a couple of times for me and it all worked out.

Eric spent some time with me last night, and I think I got it figured out. Once I'm sure, I'll take a bunch of pictures and post them up as I'm sure it will help other folks in the future. Thanks to everybody, especially Eric whose customer service is outstanding!
