Default Enclosed Auto Transport

Anyone know of any good carriers other than Horseless Carriage?

Horseless Carriage wants more money than I want to spend and was looking for less expensive alternatives..

Thanks..

($2500 for transport from Va to Ca)

I recently had a couple cars shipped using Speedy auto transport. Less than half the price of another popular transporter.

I had good luck with FedEx Custom Critical, dedicated, enclosed trucks, and door to door.

I've used Intercity a few times...very competitive pricing, and very professional service. I don't call anybody else now.

Intercity or FedEx. Both good which ever can do the job when you want.

FedEx Critical Custom Critical and Intercity were side by side at the RM auction in Monterey this past week. seemed to me it was a toss up from my scientific observation

I recommend Intercity too.

I had a horrible experience with Horseless Carriage several years ago.

I used DeMoise trucking just three weeks ago to ship my 997 from Norfolk, VA to San Diego, CA. They were extremely professional, courteous, and easy to work with. They only charged me $1600 and it only took them 9 days to ship it cross country. Here is there web site:

http://www.demoise.com/

And no I’m not affiliated with them, just a very satisfied customer.

Intercity just shipped my car back from Monterey to VA. They did several things above and beyond including:

1) Picking it up from the dealer (Thank you, Stevens Creek!) since I had to catch a plane
2) Coordinating with the dealer on their own
3) Keeping me well updated on the status
4) Delivering the car early and in perfect condition
5) Billing me slightly less than the estimate

I'd definitely use them again. Their service was impeccable. I worked with Jim on the arrangements and Mike was my driver.
