How do I find the production date?

How do I find the production date?
I've searched every Porsche forum I know of and cannot find out how to determine the production date on my 2008 997.1. My BMW had a handy door sticker with the date...too easy! What about Pcars? Thanks!

Should be on the mfr plate on the door or door jamb. You might also call 1-800-porsche with your VIN and see if they can provide start/end dates....your dealer can do this too.
