Those things are so sexy I almost wish my rotors would wear out.

Maybe I'm tired from work today, but the OP appears to say that the rotors are free ("no charge whatsoever") - or do you just mean that the shipping is free. If the former, send several!

Yeah it sure sounded like I was giving away free floating rotors ;-)
Change made, thanks for the heads-up

DROOL...lots of expensive DROOL!!!! WOW, Dang, Man, Geesh, Yeah!... I hate not having these I think. I wonder with Pagid RS29 Yellows if the stopping distance is improved over stock rotors? If so by how much? How much longer do these rotors last over the $300 stock fronts? Are the lighter than the stock rotors.

I have a 09 Carrera S.

Put it this way: A guy on the 997 GT3 forum has *16* HARD track days....minimal wear.
No way in hell will the stockers do that.

Mike & Matt - UNDERr 600 per corner PLUS free shipping. Replacement discs are just 295, drive pins and all hardware per disc just 45.

There is no better value anywhere on a disc of this quality and longevity. Howzzat for confidence? ;-)

Craig, you are correct no way a set of stock rotors will get 16 track days. My stock rotors are usually good for around 6-9 days max.

I guess I need to get a lot faster. I've got at least 30 track days on my original rotors.

WOW. I do not know your driving style but maybe the track you are on is mostly sweeping turns and you do not use any threshold braking. My home track is Sebring and there are a few places to threshold brake.

I came to track events by way of autocross, so I have a lot of "toss it into the corner", "induce lift oversteer" and "maintain momentum" habits. Sometimes it serves me well, sometimes it doesn't. Venues are Texas World Speedway, MSR Cresson and Harris Hill Road which is a diverse mix of track types. As long as I stay away from Eagle's Canyon my brakes hold up really well. I'm hell on my tires, though, and pinch turns way too much.

I'm sure the truth is just that I need to get a lot faster. I'm just middle-of-the-pack advanced (yellow) group. One of these days I need to get Veloce Raptor to coach me -- red group seems pretty far away. I also need to lose the cab and move into a coupe.

Thebest quality on all fronts at the least cost possible.
