camhabib, super nice shots!

I had a Nikon N65 film camera way back when but when I went to DSLR I went with Canon only because of the new 20D at the time and the deals Canon was running. Nikon and Canon are what I like the most.

I want to sell my Canon 20D and get a 5DmkII or maybe the 7D. I do a lot of airshows and car races and some concert music photgography...only for fun so I am torn between the faster shutter speed of the 7D and the crop sensor does come in handy with my 100-400 lens making it even longer. However I've wanted to get a full frame senor like in the 5DmkII.

Anyone want a like new Canon 20D. Complete with original box kit lens ect??????

You already answered your dilemma for me. 7D is your answer since you only shoot 'some' concerts and a lot of the other things that would require 8 FPS or higher if you want to up the keeper rates.

Some recent shots from my 'old' 1D MkIIn

Thanks...not as sharp as yours...I've learned more about f stop since. Those were shot in shutter priority mode. I now shot in manual mode and control exposure on the camera my self. I do get lucky once in a while. I need to post more pics up on my flickr site so I can post them to forums.

For those I shot shutter priority as well. Low speeds for the props and high for the jets. It's tricky being so close with a 300mm. I'm used to shooting cars at the 'Ring with a 70-200.

BTW, you're shots are excellent.

I really want a 70-200 2.8 IS really bad. My 100-400 is too much at Sebring. But I also want a new camera body so I need to decide which to get 1st.

I bought too much.

5D, 1DMkIIn, 70-200, 300, 50, 24-105, 580EXII and 430 EX...and that is just Canon camera crap. I have some what of a studio setup too. I need to get rid of stuff realistically!!
