Default 997 Exhaust hack

If anyone is interested in getting his OEM exhaust updated to a sportier sound (only 997 with NO OEM sports exhaust) send me a PM. Located in the Dayton OH area.
We just did 2 systems and are setup do some more.

I'm about ready to do the hack to my '09 S. Have you compared the sound produced by this pipe routing to the hack that adds a short pipe between the inlet and outlet pipes? Even though it's a PITA, I'd consider shipping mine to you for mods. Can you send me details? (thejazzman88 at yahoo.com)

Default Looks like a 996 modification, not 997.

The above pictured mod does not offer much sound improvement on muffler part numbers starting in 997. This is a common 996 mod. The cans changed from 996 to 997 making the "banana mod" as shown not worth the effort.

PSE sound for +$150 when you put a cross over between inlet and exhaust, as shown.

It all depends on how loud you want your exhaust. With the direct bypass of the muffler it gets real loud indeed. The "banana mod" makes it louder as well but not to annoying when driving. We did both versions and myself likes the "banana mod" better.
It all depends on what you are looking for. We do both versions.
All mufflers are ss tig-welded as shown in the pictures.

I have the mod Gundo shows and don't consider it to be anywhere near too loud. Come to think of it I have never seen one post that suggests such a mod is too loud. There is no resonance of any kind and certainly wouldn't be described as annoying.
