Default Unplugging Exhaust Wire

Does unplugging the exhaust wire on the engine which controls the number
2 and 3 chambers in the exhaust do any harm to the engine?

no.

It has been known to damage the exhaust itself though.

My PSE control wire was plugged in and one of my mufflers still went bad at 12k (under warranty). So I unplugged the wire.

If it breaks outside of warranty, I might go and put a Tubi on instead.

Anyone have a picture of which Wire it is that you unplug?

As I have the Factory Sports Exhaust, and would love it always on without pressing the switch.
