Cool Bass Players and 911's gear configurator?

Can anyone give me an idea as to what equipment they're carrying to gigs in a CS or C4S...I suspect the guitar in a bag in the front seat, head in rear or front boot and one or two small cabs in rear seats or on deck after folding? Looking into TC Electronics cabs. Am considering an 08' C4S. Thanks!

At least you can somehow drive your Porsche to a gig...I'm a drummer so no chance for me!

A guitar will fit perfectly across the back seats/parcel shelf. A bass is too long.

My wifey is the bass player/singer in our band. We usually just take the Touareg, drums, amps, etc.

In the P-car you could just put the bass in the passenger seat and bring a D.I. box. Or a small amp would fit in the boot or on the back parcel shelf.

In my old 911SC, I used to recline the front passenger seat and I was able to fit in a Fender bass in the hard shell case. I even put the seat belt around it so it wouldn't whack me in the head if I took a fast corner. I'm not sure if the newer 911s have the same amount of room or not.

You're lucky you don't play the piano!

Actually, piano players just show up and use the piano that's already there, which is hopefully in tune.

Now, upright (acoustic) bass players or tuba players, that another story altogether.

Ahh yes...carting a Tuba around....now that can be fun.

Especially a Boosey and Hawkes BB flat Bass ....played such when I was a nipper

For a few years it was taller than I was...
