Question PCM 2.1 (No CD Update CD For Australia ?)

Is there a way of updating the GPS NAV as we don't have an updated Australian version as they all run off the hard drive now, is there a unit which I can purchase or convert the GPS NAV to hard drive as thats the only way I see of updating it.

Also i want to install a rear view camera, has anyone done this and what system did they use to view it from the main screen?

Im located in Melbourne, Australia so if anyone knows of someone who can be of some help that would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried the whereis and they told me they have no updates for the Porsche 997, as its all done via hard drive. So im lost at what to do and would like to also install a rear view camera. Any feedback will be of some help.

And would you know of anyone that deals with Porsche electronics?

Try Jon Bergman at Autofidelity on 0411 191 411 or jon@autofidelity.com

He put the mObridge system in my last car and from what I could gather does a lot of this sort of work for PCA and independents like Weltmeister.
