An 08 C2S listed north of $117?

I saw this car at Loeber when I went in for service a few weeks ago and spoke with the salesman who had ordered the car. It had been sitting on the lot quite a while. It actually looked pretty good in the flesh but the deviated stitching did not extend to the shift boot or dashboard. The painted vents looked very cool. Persoanlly, although I liked the color, I would never buy a car that drew so much attention to the driver.

I don't see the ugly part of this car, especially considering that one of the colors of the GT3RS is this color. Oh, I almost forgot, the Green RS pre-owned are selling in excess of 135-150k.

Kermit the Frog ordered this before the economy went south - tough times in Muppet-land, so I guess he couldn't take delivery. If it makes someone else happy, good I reckon, but in these photos which may not do it justice, it is way over the top for my tuxedo car tastes.

Look wise there isn't much of a difference between the S and the RS. This was someone that probably liked the RS look but didn't or couldn't purchase it. The S is still a great car, I know I tracked my convertible S for the better part of 2 years. After 3 events with my RS I am still 5 secs off my best time with the S. That, in my opinion, speaks volumes of this car.

I hear ya I LOVE my '08 S however, a) it was no where near $117K, and b) it does not attract attention in the negative sense that I think that green would is all I am saying.. Most RS cars appear to be track cars, where the wilder the color the better.!

As a bright car owner I need to chime in here.
I have been ensconced in either Speed Yellow or Orange for 4+ years and have never been pulled over in either car. I don't mind the little bit of attention my cars have drawn: it's usually a thumbs up or a teenager with a cell phone camera.
It's driving style and bad situational awareness that gets people pulled over, not the color of their p-car!

Please clarify something for me. Which version did you mean..... "As a bright car owner..." or "As the owner of bright car....."
Maybe you meant to imply both? Just having a little fun!
