Default Belated noob intro

Hi all,

My name is Phil and I'm a Porsche-holic..

Been posting here for several months with no intro 'cause I haven't had chance to do the pic thing. Couldn't do a proper intro with no pics,, didn't want to PO Tim and catch his wrath.

So I was out and about today and happened to have camera with me so here go's.

I bought this car around mid April. It was the subject of a brief thread here when it was for sale on Auto-Trader. Believe it was Stoppie who brought the car to the boards attention. The side scripts raised a few brows, but I just love the package!

The car is a 2006 C2S 8200 miles
6 speed
The color is paint to sample - Riviera Blue
Int. - Stone Gray
Factory Aero kit - F+R
Factory installed side scripts
Sport Chrono
Adaptive sport seats
PSE

PO showed the car at concourse events. Anyone seen it shown in so. cal or Arizona?

The last pic shows one of my other Porsches. It's a 1973 911T coupe. All original including the mech. inj.. Also have a Boxster S and a 1963 356B Super coupe.

Hopefully I'll be able to contribute here in a positive way. I've gotten many hours of good reads and pics here to thank you all for!

Thanks for taking the time to read this and HI!!
See you on the board

Phil

Fantastic colour! Love the aerokit.

Not a big fan of the script, but it is less pronounced than on a black car.

Just beautiful! Love the colour! More pictures of the two 911's together? The paintjob on that 73 is just stunning.

Riviera is a great blue. What a nice early 1973 T. It looks like concours is your thing.

Here's another quik pic of the two 911's together. I need to do some better pictures of these.

You can also see my bikes hanging from the garage ceiling in the reflection on the red paint of the 911 engine lid.

Enjoy!!

Thanks for the nice comments Dan. Concours isn't really my "thing". I've actually never entered an event. I am considering showing the Rivi blue car though. It's quite stunning in person. On my drive in the hills yesterday quite a few oncoming bikers gave me approving hand gestures. (which is a heck of a lot better than a one finger salute!)

I am really enjoying the 997. To me it's a true supercar. The crowning jewel of my collection.

As a side note; I had actually been shopping for a 993 and in the process it evolved into 997 shopping. I just wanted all the speed my money could buy.
Truth be told I started out 930 shopping, turned into 993 shopping, turned into 997 buying!!

Hey, I resemble that remark!

Sweet looking 997. Great color! I am glad a Rennlister bought it so we could see more pics. Congrats!

We should coordinate a rendezvous sometime in the central coast. Would be good to shoot two different but older blue colors together!
