Default 997 Purchase

Howdy 997 Owners,

A very good friend of mine is looking for 997 (2005 or 2006), standard or S, for approximately $45k. As a very content 993 guy I have very little knowledge as to the 997 model year pros and cons as well as the used market. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many mahalos....

Thousand Oaks eh? I grew up in NP

I think that price is doable for an 06 standard maybe an 05 S. As far as the CONS, I can't really think of any...it's a p-car for gods sake.

Obviously your best price will be through a private party, however if he prefers CPO you can run a search of all CPO and non-CPO through Porscheusa.com

Good Luck

Definitely do-able. Might take a bit of time if he's not willing to go out of state. 2005-2007, both non "S" and "S". Just go to autotrader.com and put in the paramaters and up should pop a good selection. If he needs to find something closer to home, he might need to give it some time.
