997 C2S with Turbo front/rear spoiler
I was in Beverly Hills yesterday morning and saw a black 997 C2S with the 997 turbo front and rear spoiler. Too much traffic on Whilshire Blvd for me to make a u-turn to get some pictures. Anyone here?????
A side note... Last night I saw a 993 C2 with with" Carrera SS" with the turbo S wing in Sierra Madre/Pasadena. Had to handle some business so I was, once again, unable to snaps some pictures... Man I suck....

There was some talk about that Carrera "SS" a bit back on Rennlist. Of course there is no such model. The owner slapped another S on the back just to impress someone. (Perhaps he is an older German expatriate...)

would love to see
would love to see a turbo front end on a none turbo car myself..... so the nose of a 997TT and a stock 997 are the same regardless of the wide body rear?
Porsche not putting TT front ends on none TT cars stinks IMO.... the pre 05 996 c4s with the TUrbo look was great....same nose etc Really liked that option that came along with a C4s, now all you get is the same rear end wide body (barely noticible) and the c4s badging and thats the only visual difference.
The extra S, well thats sad.....

eh, I think the TT front end is pretty ugly. It's easy to ignore the cosmetics when you've got eleventy-jillion foot pounds of torque, I'm sure, but it's ugly. GT2 front fascia looks a lot less awful to my eye and I hope it's an indicator of where Porsche are headed in the future.
But what do I know? I think that a base 997.2 CS coupe is the best-looking 911 on the road. Simple, elegant, timeless. No silly scoops and vents and wings. It'll look great tomorrow and in 20 years.
